Observation 1: In summer, most of "big" breaks are false. It means, during summer, lots of traders have vacations, and do not trade. Markets are "thin" and volatile, but no one really wants to account for a big move. Thus, if you are a position trader, it is not a good idea to enter a position in summer. If you are a scalper, it is your paradise.
